By day, patrons can enjoy a diverse menu ranging from breakfast burritos to crab cakes, while by night, the dance floors and patios come alive with drag shows, DJ sets, and a vibrant crowd. The Abbey has been recognized as a two-time winner of the MTV Logo Best Gay Bar in the World Award. In 2023, the establishment was sold to entrepreneur Tristan Schukraft, ensuring its continued legacy in the community.
