Intimate Classic cocktails Latin flavors Vintage ambiance Hidden gem
Tucked away in Federal Hill's back corridor on Spruce Street, Loma is a cozy cocktail lounge that transports you to a 1960s Latin American living room. The intimate space features a deep mahogany bar, warm copper walls, and burnt sienna velvet banquettes, all illuminated by vintage Murano glass sconces. The cocktail menu highlights international spirits infused with Latin flavors, such as the 'Number 5,' a sherry blend with mushroom orgeat, Champagne vinegar, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Loma's owners, including Puerto Rican bartender Leishla Maldonado and her Guatemalan partners Osman and Yefri Cortave, have created a welcoming environment that earned them a spot on Tales of the Cocktail's Spirited Awards' Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar in the East list.
