    Temescal Brewing is a laid-back spot in Oakland's Temescal neighborhood, just a short walk from MacArthur BART station. The taproom and beer garden are bright and welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating, including a couple of fire pits. They offer a rotating selection of house-made beers, including their crisp Temescal Pils and juicy hazy IPAs. Food trucks are often parked out front, providing a variety of options to pair with your pint. The space is kid- and dog-friendly, making it a great place for groups of any size. In October 2025, Temescal Brewing filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy but emphasized that they are not closing and are restructuring for long-term health.
