    Nestled in a historic brownstone near Yale's campus, 168 York Street Cafe is one of Connecticut's oldest gay bars, offering a welcoming atmosphere for all. The entrance is discreetly located under the stairs on the right side of the building. Inside, you'll find a cozy bar area, dining tables, and an outdoor patio. The kitchen serves a variety of dishes, including personal pizzas and jumbo soft pretzels available after 9 pm. On Sundays, they offer a brunch menu from 11 am to 3 pm, featuring items like eggs Benedict and French toast. The bar hosts monthly drag shows and dance parties, creating a lively and inclusive environment. Happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm, with $1 off all drinks (excluding shots). For large parties, it's recommended to call ahead.
