The saloon is renowned for its chili, with a recipe dating back to 1894 when chili powder was first invented. In 2010, after extensive renovations, the Phoenix Saloon reopened as a live music venue, hosting performances on Saturday nights. In December 2024, the saloon introduced Uncharted, a tiki bar located in its basement, offering a retro escape into Polynesian-inspired decor and cocktails.
