    Located above Dempsey's Public House in downtown Fargo, The Aquarium is a 260-capacity venue that has been hosting national, regional, and local bands since 2006. Past headliners include Father John Misty, Bon Iver, and Band of Horses. The venue is independently owned and operated by co-directors Ryan Hoffart and Josie Gereszek, with Dempsey's Public House providing support. Both venues have been recognized as "Best Music Venue" and "Best Bar" by the High Plains Reader.
