A Detroit institution since 1927, Temple Bar is a welcoming dive bar in the Cass Corridor, known for its inclusive atmosphere and diverse clientele. Located just a block from Little Caesars Arena and across from the Masonic Temple, it's a popular spot for both locals and visitors. The bar features a small dance floor and a cool outdoor area, making it ideal for socializing. While they don't serve food beyond chips, the affordable drinks and lively vibe more than make up for it. After a brief closure due to a facade collapse in 2024, Temple Bar reopened in December 2024 and continues to be a staple in Detroit's nightlife scene.
