    Hoof Hearted Brewing's Short North taproom at 26 E. 5th Ave. is a vibrant spot for craft beer enthusiasts. The space, previously Brothers Drake Meadery, has been transformed with Hoof Hearted's signature bright colors and local artist Thom Lessner's artwork. The bar features a dozen beers on tap, including a mix of IPAs, lagers, and sours, with a heavy emphasis on IPAs. While brewing isn't done on-site, the brewery sources unfermented brew from their Marengo location for unique tweaks. The atmosphere is casual and fun, with plans for outdoor seating and a refreshed patio. Note that the Italian Village location has closed due to ongoing legal disputes.
