    Established in 1921, the Green Door Tavern is Chicago's oldest surviving drinking establishment, housed in a building dating back to 1872. The structure's noticeable lean adds to its unique charm. Inside, the bar features a Brunswick bar with a brass draught fixture and cash register, surrounded by antique bric-a-brac. The menu offers elevated bar fare, including Scotch eggs, Chicago-style poutine, and roast chicken, complemented by a selection of craft cocktails and local beers. A basement speakeasy, The Drifter, offers a rotating cocktail list on tarot cards.
