    Established in 1937, The California Clipper is Humboldt Park's longest-standing neighborhood bar, exuding a classic Chicago tavern vibe with its iconic red leather booths and vintage red light fixtures. The bar offers a seasonally rotating cocktail menu featuring unique takes on familiar favorites, such as the Mezcal Soda Highball and the Yuzu Spritz. Live music is a staple, with performances ranging from jazz groups to DJs to country music nearly every night. In 2022, the bar expanded to include 'The Lil Clip,' an intimate space for late-night dancing on Friday and Saturday nights, focusing on up-and-coming artists and independent acts.
