Sports bar Historic Wrigleyville Craft beers Rooftop seating
Located directly across from Wrigley Field, Murphy's Bleachers has been a Wrigleyville staple since the 1930s. Originally known as Ernie's Bleachers, it became Ray's Bleachers in the 1960s, home to the legendary Bleacher Bums. In 1980, Chicago Police Detective Jim Murphy took over, expanding the tavern and adding the first rooftop in 1984, sparking a movement that would come to define Wrigleyville. Today, it's a family-owned establishment offering local craft beers and an award-winning menu.
