    Terrapin Beer Co. is Athens' oldest craft brewery, established in 2002. Located in a spacious 45,000-square-foot facility, the brewery offers a variety of year-round and seasonal beers, including the award-winning Rye Pale Ale. Visitors can enjoy on-demand tours, sample a range of beers, and purchase pints or cans to go. The brewery is pet-friendly, allowing dogs on the lawn, though they must remain outside the brewing facility. Live music is often featured during tour hours, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere. Operating hours are Wednesday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., with closures on Mondays and Tuesdays.
