    Port City Brewing Company, established in 2011, is Alexandria's first production brewery since Prohibition. Located just west of Old Town, it offers a variety of award-winning beers, including the Optimal Wit and Monumental IPA. The spacious tasting room features both indoor and outdoor seating, and is family and pet-friendly. In 2024, La Tingeria, a local taqueria, set up a kitchen on-site, serving tacos and other Mexican specialties. The brewery also hosts events like brewery tours, guided beer pairings, and live music.
